Hand Dyed Yarn | Fingering Weight | Sock Yarn | 75/25 Yarn | Superwash Merino Wool | Color: Granddaddy Purple
This fingering weight superwash merino wool and nylon blend has been hand dyed by me in the PNW. Hand dyed yarn is always unique especially with speckles. I enjoy using this superwash merino wool and nylon blend because it gives your project a nice bounce and set. I enjoy knitting with this sock yarn because it is light on my needles and my project can hold its shape as I work it in the round. The percentage of nylon although may not be the ideal percentage at 25% per skein but you will enjoy the sharper edges on your project and how it blooms after being washed. I hope you enjoy this knit as much as I do!
If you are knitting socks with this yarn, the wool and nylon blend is perfect for attaching sticky grip sock tabs!
Colorway is available in other yarn weights. Please check out my other listings for this colorway or if you don't see what you're looking for please send me a message for a custom order!

•This listing is for one skein. If you want more than one, please select your quantity from the drop-down menu. If you don’t see the base or amount you need, just message me and I will be happy to assist!
•I would be happy to wind your skeins into cakes for $5.
•I am a small batch yarn dyer. There will be variations even in the skeins from the same dye batch. Please keep this in mind and consider alternating skeins every few rows with projects using multiple skeins.
•I use professional acid dyes and although the wool was washed clear after the dye process, it may bleed slightly with the first wash. Some colors bleed more than others. For best results, hand wash separately in cold water with very little agitation and lay flat to dry.
•I have tried to capture the colors as accurately as possible. Please keep in mind that colors may vary from computer screens.
•Please send me a message for any questions or concerns, I am here and happy to help!
